COATNEY, BONNIE LEE. Passed away Sunday, September 16, 2001 at the age of 47. She was born October 28, 1953. She attended Bryan Adams High School and Eastfield College. She had a lifetime struggle with Rheumatoid Arthritis which she handled with great dignity, and was an inspiration to many people. This beloved daughter will especially be remembered for her great sense of humor, unfailing cheerfulness and sensitivity to other people's needs. She was particularly interested in genealogy and had traced both sides of her family back several generations. She was preceded in death by her father Doyle F. Coatney. She is survived by her mother and step-father Martha and William P. Brashear; one brother William R. Coatney; one step-brother Tom Brashear and his wife Ann; three step-sisters and their husbands Jo Lou and Don Gibson, Mary Ann and Michael Rawson, and Linda and Clay Llewellyn; two nieces; six nephews; two aunts; several cousins; and step-grandmother Myrtle Ruth Brashear. Services will be 9:30 a.m., Wednesday, September 19, 2001 at WILDWOOD Chapel, Dr. Lesly F. Massey, officiating. Interment to follow in Restland Memorial Park. Family will receive friends from 6:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 18, 2001 at Restland Funeral Home. Memorials and donations may be made to Scottish Rite Hospital or to the charity of your choice.
